Virtual Jukeboxes

Now you can access all of your CDs and DVDs over the network with the Virtual Jukebox™. Up to 250 CDs can be stored in a single VJB. This product is ideal for all Network applications that share CD and DVD data. The VJB attaches with a single RJ-45 cable from your hub or router with no network interruption. The network remains up with no interruption to the users.

CD Recording is now available in the VJB. Record a CD across your network and make the data accessible to the network while you are recording. Up to 4 recorders can be installed in the VJB.

Virtual Jukebox advantages over conventional Jukeboxes:

	Multiple simultaneous users with faster access to data.
	Media is returned after being loaded into the Jukebox to be stored away for safe keeping.
	More reliable than a conventional mechanical Jukebox.
	Uses less power and less space.
	Easily expandable.
	Now available with CD Recording capability.
	Optional fault tolerant RAID 5 technology. If a hard drive should fail no data will be lost and the Virtual Jukebox will keep on running.
	CD International, Inc. manufactures all of it's own enclosures in Kennebunk, Maine, USA and has all of the approvals such as UL, CSA, and FCC.

There are two levels of Virtual Jukeboxes:

Caching with RAID 5

Caching technology allows you to store exact images of the your CDs or DVDs on hard disks. After loading the CDs or DVDs users access the data at hard disk speeds and your data is safe because you get the CD or DVD back to lock up in a secure place on or off-site for back-up and disaster control. RAID 5 technology means your data is secure even if one hard drive in the VJB fails. All data is still accessible to your users, and the faulty drive can be replaces in less than one minute using the pluggable caddy.

RAID 5 protection is recommended if you are storing 120 CDs or more.

Caching without RAID.

The cache family has the ability to store exact images of the your CDs or DVDs on hard disks for much faster retrieval and offline storage of the source CD or DVD. If a hard drive fails it can be replaced in less than a minute and only the images on that disk need to be reloaded.
